Just wanted to apologize for my absence these past couple of days and figured I might as well do it outside of the actual thread. ;)
I've been a bit sick, nothing bad but headaches and writing don't really go well together. I'm feeling better today though, so I'll definitely be back within the next one or two days. :)

And once again I am abusing this thread to say hi, I'm back. I did mean to reply but for some reason the forum was blocked and I couldn't access it - might have been some hotel filter, might have been Turkey government but yeah. :/

Anyway, I'm back now, I just need to catch up. ;) Are you far along since I last replied?

I'll just throw this here since the topic kind of suits for it:

This reply, I usually just let anyone write whatever they want because I believe in freedom of speech and expressing oneself but there were two small bits that really irked me;

1. The school wouldn't rely on donations by single person/family, no matter how rich they are. They very likely have people investing to keep the school running because they have their own interest in what the students can learn there and possibly could hire the best ones for their own purposes. (like imagine what a strong mage could do to help out military or something!) Although admittedly Aeth is very stubborn and stingy and thus he'd be like "it's not even broken yet, it doesn't need to be replaced!" so getting any renovation work done would take a lot of convincing that it really is necessary to get him agree rather than money showered on him for that.

2. If we pretend Aeth would hire someone to advertize Terces as their school they'd get fairly compensated for their work, he is asshole but he does believe that work you do should be paid for fairly (unless you're Haine). What happens to their popularity is really up to them, after all being sort of mascot for school to make it look good can't be very profitable profession so they probably should have found something more profitable and popular to keep their popularity. :/

Summed up: Leave Aeth alone. He wasn't perfect headmaster (far from it really and he's aware that he has done quite huge mistakes too and will probably reflect on that for the rest of his life) and even I think he's quite an asshole but as he was character I wrote I do feel annoyed about the way you're writing him. I'm not asking you to change that reply, that would be kind of pointless, I just ask you refrain from writing more about "the past". Making rumors is fine like "I heard the headmaster was actually a fire breathing demon!" but writing things like they are facts is a no go.

just wanted to check in quickly. I've been super busy lately and to top it off I got sick now, so that's why I haven't been around. I'm really, really sorry and I promise I'll be back as soon as I'm on my feet again.
