Terces Academy Roleplay Thread (this is where the game is)

Icon smiled “You’re right about that” he nodded.”Um...your friend that’s here. She seems like a very nice woman, but seems to have a lot on her mind. Is she ok?” Ada tilted her head, "Oh you bumped at Shin already?" Well that did make sense since she had said she'd check on their kids. She sucked her cheek, "It's not really my place to say but.... I don't think she's doing too good. She's not the kind of person who'd share those problems with anyone though so even if I asked her she very likely wouldn't tell me more than she did earlier. It's nice of you to worry about her though."






“Then let us make a move on?” Emit said getting up from his chair and stretching out his arms.
"Ok, gentlemen, let us depart” Alex said as he got to his feet heading for the exit. He followed the rest in silence, it was something that they hadn't laughed at his skills, now as long as he just could keep the other skill hidden all would be good.... He silently prayed there weren't too many animals on the island.

They soon arrived at their dorm room as Alex got out his guitar from the case and tried out a few chords before beginning a quick tempo melody:

Surprised me a bit” Ah so that's what had happened. “Ah, I see...well I wished her the best and tried to be encouraging to her. She seemed a bit sad.” Ada nodded, "Well life generally hasn't been too kind on her so that's not a surprise. We've told her that she could just move here, take things easy for a while and then put things in order without having to stress how she's going to make it till the end of the week but she keeps being stubborn and refuses any help. She must have felt really desperate already when she asked us to take Asha in."

Icon frowned. "There's no shame in asking for help. It doesn't make you a week person or anything if that's what she's thinking. Would there be anything at all that could convince her otherwise perhaps? I did offer to help her if she needed help with being able to control her power since I told her that's what the focus of my class would be and she said she'd think about it. Has she always been like this?"

As the left the canteen Emit was looking at the walls, dragging his hands against the wall. He noticed paintings that he hadn't seen on the tour one was of the school plans and one was with two twin boys, they must of been the famous twins that came here. After their journey, They soon arrive at the dorm room. Emit walks in and looks around, noticing it's exactly the same as their room. He then takes a seat on one of the chairs.
Emit then notices Alex get out his guitar from its case and tried out a few chords before beginning a quick tempo melody:

Emit liked Alex's voice running through his ears as he closes his eyes.

She called after them and sighed when they ignored her. "Haine knows her bit better than I do since they're childhood friends, according to him she was pretty much raised to only trust herself and a lot of things that happened during the time I've known her probably have only made her even more sure that it's the only way to go about things." She sighed, "It's really not my place to talk about her private matters so I think we should drop the subject for now. Of course you're free to try to get her to talk by yourself if you'd like to, I'm not stopping you. I plan to force her to stay here at least until she can find a new job so she'll probably be around for a while."

Icon nodded. "I see. I apologize if I was a bit too intrusive." He let his thoughts drift back to the matter at hand as he continued to follow Ada through the building towards the room that he would be teaching in, all the while in the back of his mind wondering how he'd be able to find a way of getting Shin to hopefully open up to him a bit more and help her somehow.

Finally she stopped in front of certain door and pushed it open, "Here it is, this will be your classroom." She walked inside and opened a window, the room was bit stuffy because no one had been there for a while so it was probably wise idea to let some fresh air in during the night so the room would be fresh in the morning then. "Is there anything you can think you'd still need here? We have some stuff in storage but I'm not against ordering new equipment either it will just take bit longer time to get it all delivered."

Ada smiled, "I hope they won't give you too much trouble, there seems to be few quite characters in that group judging by how they acted today."

"Well they'll be in for a rude awakening should they try anything. And now Miss Ada, you probably have an anxious young lady at home who hasn't had as much play time as she probably would've liked and isn't looking forward to study time, and I think I'll take a brisk jog before turning in for the night. This has been a wonderful afternoon and I thank you for it all"

She waited a while to see if anyone would answer to the sound but nothing had happened. As soon as she decides to turn around the door suddenly opens ever so slightly, creating a creaking sound. Ava looks back and sees the door open deciding if she should or should not walk in. She looks up at the night sky and then decides to walk back towards the school. She then wishes why she left in the first place, curiosity was a nightmare she guessed. Sometimes thinking about it she is more curious than anything, sometimes nosey as well.
After a walk she decides to make another trip to the lake but just to sit beside on a rock for a moment before she heads back to her room. As she approaches the lake, she finds a smooth rock and takes a seat. Watching the water she notices a mermaid coming up from down deep. The mermaid pushes it's hair back and smiles at Ava.
"Why don't you join us in the water? The mermaid asked.
"Don't play that game, I am dead already," she whispers as she looks down to her toes.
"If your dead should of stopped breathing? So are you one of us then?" The mermaid then got closer to her, splashing her tail.
Ava looks up and sees the mermaid next to her, "I wouldn't say I am a mermaid but something like one," she smiled before she notices the mermaid look to her side, hearing something Ava looks in the same direction and then notices the mermaid dives back into the water.

Sabre had looked through the gardens with no luck there and now she was searching the lake. She'd seen a flash of pink - at least she hoped it was as she'd made her way in that direction. As she'd gotten closer, she thought she saw something else...? But one of those things she definitely saw was -

"Ava, there you are," she sighed a breath of relief. "I've been looking for you all night. I heard a noise, woke up and you were gone. Where'd you go?" she knelt down beside her friend.

Ava quickly turns her head to see her roommate Sabre was standing there climbing out the bushes.

"You must of heard the screech. I thought I heard someone outside near the lake but it was nothing. Had a long night I guess," she smiles at Sabre before dipping her fingers into the lake.
"Do you think other mystical creatures are living with us on this island? Cause I have a feeling we aren't alone," she asked Sabre before lifting her head up into the night sky.
