Emit smiled back before taking another sip from his coffee, “to be quiet honest I haven’t got a clue,” he laughed. “I thought my name is simple and has no meaning to it there isn’t much I can talk about. But I guess we could learn about one another, such as hobbies, interests and what we think of the school so far. Like this cafeteria I personally think it’s to classy but then again I can live with good quality food.”
Noir hummed, "The school is nice, feels like hotel more than a school actually... but maybe that illusion will come crashing down once the lessons start then."
Alexander glanced around the canteen "It is pretty nice and the food's not bad. A hotel? Dunno about all that - although I've never been to one before so I'm not sure what one would look like," he shrugged, then nodded towards Andy grinning "Before I left 'mother' here on his own, we were talking about homemade recipes and we'd also discussed a bit about our abilities and whatnot as I told him one thing I do is play music and sing as I explained I can use it to do anything from knock someone out to heal them.”
"I have venom living inside me, my spit is poison and kill someone instantly," Emit replied before looking away and falling silent. Andy grimaced. Sounded like there was a story there, and not a pleasant one at that. He better ought to keep his mouth shut and not ask though judging from the look on Emit’s face.
He tilted his head looking at Andy, "What about you then? What kind of magic do you use?" Noir asked him just then. Andy shrugged and nodded towards the trays.
“Pretty sure you’ve seen most of it already. Well, there’s also the thing with the shield I told Alex about earlier but it’s basically useless. I mean, I suppose it does protect me but only in mortal danger and seriously, how often are you almost killed? At the very least I can’t control it. If someone tries to punch me picking something up with my mind and hitting them over the head with it is sure as hell more useful … how about you by the way? What’s your secret power, something cool I bet?” He smiled.

Elyssa smiled pointing ahead, "I think the beach is about right there so bit more to go." She glanced at Max asking curious, "You draw? Can you show me some of your works at some point?" Max looked up and saw that Elyssa was right, they’d almost reached a break in the trees and she could see the water glitter beyond.
“I sketch,” she clarified in response to Elyssa’s question, “I’m afraid I’m not very good at working with paints.” Just one more thing to be embarrassed about. She hunched her shoulders unconsciously. “I … I suppose I could show you some sketches once we get back to our room, yes. They aren’t very interesting, however, just things I see around me.”
