She giggled bit, "I always had good relationship with Aeth and well, he is the grandpa of our kids so maybe that did have something to do with it."

Haine rolled his eyes, "Having kids with me had nothing to do with it, if anything in dad's eyes that was a very bad move that ruined your future. He accepted you as his follower because he trusted you wouldn't fail this school."

Ada looked at Haine thoughtful, "It's true that having kids so early did prevent me from becoming a teacher like I had planned but I really wouldn't trade what we have for that. I'm perfectly happy with my life as it is now."

Haine looked surprised then bit embarrassed and she chuckled bit, "No really, I have perfect husband, four beautiful kids and lovely house, what more could I possibly ask for? Of course it would be nice if I still got all the teachers to support me and my ideals about how to make this school better place so things at work would be nicer too but for now I'm perfectly happy as things are." That was something she could say from the heart. "Please have another sandwich. And should I pour you more coffee?" She asked Icon smiling.

Icon liked their dynamic. They were a very good couple together and in a way reminded him of his family. There would be doubts, but in the end, they'd work things out TOGETHER regardless of what the end result was.

He frowned at the part about the teachers "Why wouldn't they support you? You're working just as hard if not harder to do what's required of you, despite your life having changed some. That doesn't seem right somehow" he shook his head. "Well, you have my full support Ada," he nodded. "However, could I make a suggestion in regards to student interactions so that there would be less trouble around campus like what we dealt with when we were here? I knew back then I couldn't have made a difference in saying anything and quite frankly...I was a bit scared of the headmaster," he chuckled nervously.

"Why wouldn't they support you? You're working just as hard if not harder to do what's required of you, despite your life having changed some. That doesn't seem right somehow" he shook his head. "Well, you have my full support Ada," he nodded. "However, could I make a suggestion in regards to student interactions so that there would be less trouble around campus like what we dealt with when we were here? I knew back then I couldn't have made a difference in saying anything and quite frankly...I was a bit scared of the headmaster," he chuckled nervously. Ada smiled, "Aeth is intimidating yes. More serious she added, "And well most teachers here are older than me, sure some of them accept me as their new boss but for example certain older male teacher seems to really hate me, heard him whining to another teacher that little girl like me should never be given this much responsibility especially when I was dumb enough to get pregnant before even graduating from here." She sighed, "Admittedly it really was stupid but I didn't have the heart for abortion either so I didn't have other option but to have the child and bear with the abuse that led to." Smiling she added, "Also duly noted, one of my goals was to try prevent cliques from forming and I do enforce strong 'no bullying' attitude here. I have no reason for not kicking out students that cause problems since I reorganized the school funding and no longer accept donations from parents just so we'd keep their kids signed here regardless of what they do. One offense results to warning, second time being caught you'll be put in special surveillance and third time you're out. I really hope I don't have to kick anyone out but I'll definitely do it if I have to."

That's no one's business but your own - despite who might know of it. Oh, and I'll have another coffee if you don't mind," he smiled picking up one of the cookies and taking a bite. "Wonderful!"

Sighing she admitted, "As for students, I don't know yet it hasn't even been a week and older students that will come here next week are the ones that were accepted during Aeth's time, I'm pretty sure the hard times are only ahead at this moment." She played with a hair strand thoughtful, "As for the teachers, I can't afford to fire all the ones I don't get along with now, it's hard to find people who are interested in teaching at school like this. I guess that's why so many teachers here are former students of this school. But with teachers I do the same as with students, if I see or hear them breaking my rules there'll be consequences period. If I have to rule with iron fist then I will."

Icon nodded, taking a sip of his coffee. It seemed she was in quite the spot right now. He was certain it'd all work itself out, but he'd do his part to try and make sure there were unnecessary incidents regardless.

A change of topic was needed. This wasn't the reason he came here now was it? "Besides cooking up a storm miss Ada and being a devoted wife, what else do you do when you have a moment to yourself?" he asked finishing off his cookies before reaching for another sandwich. He definitely wouldn't need dinner tonight, but a good extra workout after all these wonderfully sinful sweets.

Ada smiled, "Well I also teach our kids at home since I feel uncomfortable with the idea of making them take boat every morning to go to school over at the mainland, maybe when they're bit older then." She giggled bit, "I'm honestly horribly boring regular house wife, I cook, clean, sew and fix clothes, keep kids and Haine happy the best I can and then if I really can find spare moment I might curl at the sofa corner and read a good book or sleep few extra hours. Most likely sleep." She admitted.

"With a schedule like yours, I suppose there's not very much time in the day to have to yourself is there except for probably when the school's on holiday hmm?" he smiled, finishing his second cup of coffee and sandwich. "My gosh I'm stuffed," he sighed contentedly. "That was wonderful Ada. Thank you"

"Yes MOTHER," Alexander stuck his tongue out at the other boy, returning to his food. "And to correct you, no you're not annoying - except when you nag like that, and furthermore, I did say 'excuse me' before I left the table," he pointed his fork towards him. Andy shook his head, still grinning.
“Dude, don’t weasel out of it, you pretty much sprinted over here. Didn’t even give me a second to reply. If I was your mother you would be in so much trouble.” He turned back to the others.
"I am Emit, nice to meet you and Noir is my roommate," one of them said before looking at the other.
"Nice to meet you."
Andy smiled in response. “Cool, Noir is a pretty awesome name, actually. Your parents must’ve liked you. Mine didn’t, they named me Anders of all things, and my mom, she says it in this tone that makes you want to curl up and confess to all your crimes. But that may more be her than the name, now that I think about it,” he mused.






Elyssa laughed bit, "All the damn time, especially when I'm around places I supposedly know. I have tendency to get lost in my thoughts and keep walking until I snap out of it and realize I have no clue where I am anymore." Max’s smile grew a little more sincere. She could just imagine it. It may actually be nice to go about life like that, perhaps you could find new things better that way.
“That sounds almost fun, I have to say. I don’t usually get lost but I don’t go to places too much in the first place, so that might explain it.”

Noir grimaced, "More like my parents had horrible sense of humor, our last name is Blanche so my name is literally Black White."






“That sounds almost fun, I have to say. I don’t usually get lost but I don’t go to places too much in the first place, so that might explain it.” Max said smiling a little and Elyssa grinned, "It is fun, well at least until you've been walking for hours and still haven't managed finding back home, then it starts getting bit frustrating. You should definitely try it out though, when you do find back the feeling of relief that sweeps over you is just awesome."

Alexander chuckled. “I hope Noir isn’t this troublesome for you, Emit” he shook his head taking a bit of his food, listening to the flow of conversation. “What’s wrong with the name Anders? I think that’s a decent name. There’s so many worse names than that,” he shrugged, then looked over at Noir “Damn...that is a pun of a name if I ever heard one if you look at the translated meaning, but other than that it sounds pretty and fancy” he smiled.



Ada smiled, "I'm glad you enjoyed it!" Aisling peaked from the door, "Can I now have Icon back?" She asked pouting a little over the lost of her new playmate.

Icon looked over, seeing the little girl in the doorway. “Miss me already do you?” he chuckled, then got up going over to her holding out his hand to her “You don’t want anything to eat before you start playing again?”

As they talk amongst them selves, Emit quickly decides to go get a cappuccino before he gets really comfortable.
As he returned and took a seat he hears Noir, "More like my parents had horrible sense of humor, our last name is Blanche so my name is literally Black White."

Plus, my middle name is Min … best of both worlds, I guess, or not so much,” Andy explained with a shrug, “But seriously though, Black White and you don’t like that? It’s like an anime hero or something, they usually have these meaningful names. I bet you’d have a cool backstory, too, that would explain why you stood between light and dark. And if you don’t mind me saying, dude, you have the looks for it, too. I’d say that’s pretty cool.” He winked. Just then Emit, who had come back with a fresh cup of something, chimed in.
“So are we going to spend the rest of the day asking about names? I like my name I guess.“
“Well, I don’t know, we can talk about other things of course. Whatever you want, my friend, just suggest a topic and I’ll run with it,” he replied grinning.

“But I guess we could learn about one another, such as hobbies, interests and what we think of the school so far,” Emit looks around. “Like this cafeteria I personally think it’s to classy but then again I can live with good quality food,” he grinned.

Max looked around curiously. “Do you think we will reach the beach soon?” she asked distractedly as she watched the light filter through the leaves above them. “I wish I’d brought my sketch pad.” Elyssa smiled pointing ahead, "I think the beach is about right there so bit more to go." She glanced at Max asking curious, "You draw? Can you show me some of your works at some point?"






Icon looked over, seeing the little girl in the doorway. “Miss me already do you?” he chuckled, then got up going over to her holding out his hand to her “You don’t want anything to eat before you start playing again?” "Nuh-uh." Aisling replied serious taking his hand. Ada smiled, "Well someone has taken liking to you. Yell if you want me to save you from her dress up games, I'm sure she'd love to braid your hair and stuff." She told Icon. When he left with Aisling she frowned bit, had her feeling of more guests been wrong after all? She didn't get to think of that for longer when there was a knock on the door and she headed to get it.

She only pulled the door open to see who was behind it when she already squealed happy squeezing her friend who was laughing sounding just as happy to see her as she felt holding her in just as tight hug. "Yo Puffin yer lookin' as good as always." Her taller friend greeted and she could only smile, "You too Shin... just what on earth have you done to your hair this time?" Shin grinned, "Just sumthin' lil' different yanno, not all of us have silky pretty hair like ya do." Ada smiled bit then her eyes traveled behind Shin and she noticed younger girl with her, "Who's this?" she asked curious and Shin finally let go off her pointing at the girl, "Asha, mah newly found lil' sister." "WHAT?" There weren't words to describe how confused Ada felt right now. Shin laughed bit, "Lon' story super short: dad had mistress, they had Asha about 17 years ago 'n I found out 'bout that 'bout two months ago when 'er mother died 'n she was sent to live with our dad but as ya can guess mah mum wasn't 'xactly happy 'bout that 'n I took 'er in instead." Ada nodded frowning then held her hand out for Asha, "Nice to meet you sweetie and sorry for your loss." Asha smiled bit sad but replied, "Nice to meet'cha too."

Ada led them in kitchen where Haine waited having heard them talking in the hallway. They chattered for a short while until Shin got down to her actual reason for visiting. "'nyway I hate askin' but Asha's like really good with magic 'n I was thinkin' that here she could 'ctually, yanno put that in good use so please, could'cha take her in?" Ada hummed bit, "I can't really just admit people in because we're friends.... but if she can pass the entrance exam then I don't see harm bending the rules a bit and taking one extra student in, I guess quite few will drop out soon enough anyway." Shin grimaced, she clearly hadn't thought that she'd make Asha take the test but Asha nodded, "Can I take the test right away or do you need to make some preparations first?" Ada smiled, "If you don't mind taking the test in kitchen while we chatter then all I have to do is get you the paper." Asha nodded clearly willing to take the test right there and then. Ada couldn't help but like her confidence.

Short moment later Asha was working on the test and Ada turned her attention back at Shin, "How's your life working with sudden addition of sister?" She asked worried, she knew that Shin barely made it through the months as was but she was too proud to ask for help from anyone. Shin smiled bit, "Well we get by." Her expression darkened, "Actually what the hell I dun hafta lie with'cha, everythin's gone to hell ever since. I lost mah job 'cuz the bar burned down 'n I have no idea what the hell 'm gonna do so I thought that first I'd at least get Asha somewhere where I know she'll have food 'n safe place to sleep every day 'n then I'll put mah own life in order again." Ada blinked, she hadn't expected anything like that to be behind this and now she felt horrible for making Asha take the test too. What if she failed it? She didn't have heart to tell her and Shin that she couldn't take her in! But that would go directly against her policy of no cheating the rules. She was starting to feel nauseous over the whole thing since Shin would undoubtedly hate her for the rest of her life if she didn't provide shelter to her sister now...

"Done." Asha suddenly announced handing the paper to her dragging her out of the fast spiraling thoughts. Ada smiled taking the paper nervous starting to grade it soon staring at it in disbelief. "Shin, are you sure you two are sisters? She seems bit too smart to be related to you." Shin laughed, "If that was comin' from anyone else's mouth I'd feed a knuckle sandwich to it." Ada looked at Asha, "I have no problems allowing you to join here as a student, there's only the tiny little problem with us not having free rooms in the dorm but if you don't mind staying at our guest room until we have the first drop-outs then that won't be a problem." Asha nodded, "I don't mind staying here if it's not inconvenience to you." Ada smiled, "It's perfectly fine, I like having people over. Shin too, you're staying right?" Shin blinked, "Me? But why?" "Well I can't possibly let you go living under a bridge or such." Shin scratched her neck, "Oh 'm capable of findin' places to stay over night, ya know what I mean right?" Ada knew exactly what she meant with that and wasn't slightest bit happy about that. "You're staying, period." Shin grinned, "Well if ya insist, I'll find a way to pay ya back sumhow." Ada rolled her eyes, there she went again, unable to just accept help even when she was the one asking for it.


"Anyways I wanna say hi to the kids, brb~" Shin announced receiving a nod so she first headed to Aisling's room since it was the nearest there. As she pushed the door to the room open she blinked staring at the man that was patiently listening as the little girl explained something to him with serious face. "Auntie!" Aisling squealed happy and run to hug her when she noticed her. Shin lifted the girl up and spun around with her "Hey munchkin~ Have cha listened to yer mama 'n behaved well while I was gone?" She asked her receiving a nod. The man turned to face her too and she smiled at him, "Hello handsome." It would have been nice to have been warned that there was somebody else in the house but knowing Ada she probably had forgotten about it the second she had started talking about her troubles. Still this was a bit awkward...

Alexander glanced around the canteen "It is pretty nice and the food's not bad. A hotel? Dunno about all that - although I've never been to one before so I'm not sure what one would look like," he shrugged, then nodded towards Andy grinning "Before I left 'mother' here on his own, we were talking about homemade recipes and we'd also discussed a bit about our abilities and whatnot as I told him one thing I do is play music and sing as I explained I can use it to do anything from knock someone out to heal them"


As Shin pushed the door to the room open she blinked staring at the man that was patiently listening as the little girl explained something to him with serious face. "Auntie!" Hearing the door open and hearing Aisling squeal so suddenly, he looked to see a dark haired young woman in the room talking to her and holding her before realizing he was there a moment later as she spoke to him. He smiled and nodded "Hello. Nice to meet you. The name's Icon, and you are...?"
