Terces Academy Roleplay Thread (this is where the game is)

"I like clothes, but I'm not on the I guess you'd call high end of things or whatever," she said grabbing some tan slacks and a sleeveless white shirt, then some toiletries. "I'm not too much of what you'd call a girly girl, but I dress up when the occasion calls for it and I think I dress well enough despite having come from a wealthy background, although I won't have to deal with any of that crap like my eldest sisters will," she grinned.

"You dress well, oh and sometimes I can be girlie girl or plain simple depends on what mood I am in I guess," Ava said as she slowly opens the door.
"Also I wish I knew who my family was. I guess I was an orphan who ran away with a guy but he wasn't my true love that I always believed to be.... he broke my heart...."Ava stopped and looked at Sabre. "Should we head off to shower?" Ava looked away and then back at the girl and smiled as she didn't want to talk about her past.


Hayato rolled his eyes replying snarkily, "How about you take the whole job next year since you're so much faster? Old man like me can't quite keep up with the young ones speed anymore..." He rubbed his back like he was in a lot of pain. More serious he added, "I'll handle things here, just go get ready for your next job and enjoy touring the kids."
"Oh next time I will do it all by myself and won't being needing an old man such as your self," she grinned. "And I will be getting ready now as I don't like allowing the students to wait and get sick of boredom," she yells the last part as she walks out of the hall waving her wand to pack up what she set up.

Noir listened him quietly and nodded thoughtful, "I discovered my skills by chance too... I got in fight with someone who's way stronger than me and as he was going to punch me I just thought 'if only I could somehow block that' and boom suddenly the plants around us pretty much covered me and stopped his attack. I'm not sure which one of us was more confused that moment. It took me few months to actually learn to control that power somehow until I dared to talk to my parents about it and show it to them." He smiled bit sad, "They weren't happy about me being such a freak and sent me to boarding school soon after that. There I met my teacher who told me about this school and talked with my parents about letting me apply here and well, here I am now."

Alexander didn't like the sound of that one bit as he clenched a fist by his side. "I can't say I know how you feel considering I lost my parents, but still...that doesn't seem right that your parents wouldn't be supportive of you. From what I remember of my parents, they were loving and wonderful people and our house was always full of love and laughter," he smiled closing his eyes. "No, they never knew about my abilities, but...somehow I'm sure my life wouldn't have changed from what it was currently despite things." He opened his eyes a moment later, looking at Noir. "I'm sorry, but at least you can be confident that sort of thing won't happen here."

Sabre looked at her hearing her disclose some very personal information about herself before quickly changing the subject. It wasn't her business after all was it? Everyone did have their secrets - of this, she knew all too well considering what truly had gotten her sent here to begin with. What a pain...

"Ah, sure," Sabre nodded gathering her things. "By the way, do you plan on attending the tour? I was thinking of skipping it and doing my own self-tour later" she said changing the subject to something safer for both of them, and hopefully get the other girl's mind off of what seemed to haunt her a moment ago.

Ava just wanted to stop thinking and all of a sudden she hears screams mad yelling with her singing playing constantly in her and all of a sudden she hears.
""Ah, sure," Sabre nodded gathering her things. Ava comes out of the screaming and looks at the girl. "By the way, do you plan on attending the tour? I was thinking of skipping it and doing my own self-tour later" she said changing the subject.
Ava looked at the girl and nodded, "God yes! I am not going on a tour to be bored I came to this school to help me with my magical power not to be bored to death," Ava replied smiling grabbing the girls hand, "come on let's go shower! Want to see what the showers look like," Ava smiled hiding her true feelings.

Ava looked at the girl and nodded, "God yes! I am not going on a tour to be bored I came to this school to help me with my magical power not to be bored to death," Ava replied smiling grabbing the girls hand, "come on let's go shower! Want to see what the showers look like," Ava smiled hiding her true feelings.

Sabre could tell there was something else there on her mind, but what those feelings she lamented weren't towards her. True, she could probably find out her story in a minute, but she didn't dare want to set things off on the wrong foot in this place, and particularly with someone she would be rooming with possibly the whole time she'd be there. Yes, she was curious about what truly happened to her that made her seem to sad and she had to hide herself in fashion, but she figured if she trusted her enough she'd come around eventually.

She was taken off guard by Ava grabbing her hand so suddenly, but she followed along as they headed out of the room together. "Well, I guess if neither of us are going on the tour, we'll find something more interesting to do then, eh? What do you prefer?" she asked, smiling.

Alexander clenched a fist by his side. "I can't say I know how you feel considering I lost my parents, but still...that doesn't seem right that your parents wouldn't be supportive of you. From what I remember of my parents, they were loving and wonderful people and our house was always full of love and laughter," he smiled closing his eyes. "No, they never knew about my abilities, but...somehow I'm sure my life wouldn't have changed from what it was currently despite things." He opened his eyes a moment later, looking at Noir. "I'm sorry, but at least you can be confident that sort of thing won't happen here." Noir smiled bit, "My parents... well we never were what you'd call warm family, dad still thinks mom cheated on him with someone and had me with someone else since neither of them has as light hair or red eyes like I do so I'm kind of used trying to pretend that I'm invisible whenever I was around them. None of my relatives has this kind of power so of course they freaked out about that and now dad is even more sure that I can't be his kid." Maybe he really wasn't? He had been thinking about it already earlier but his mother refused to talk about it so he never got concrete answer for it. He tilted his head adding, "I care for my parents really but it's honestly a relief to get away from them for a while. For now I'll just enjoy not having to hide myself and that's enough." He turned his eyes down, "I'm honestly bit jealous that you have such great memories of your parents and also really sad to hear they're no longer among us but... they'll always live in your memories at least." .... ah crap what a cheesy thing to say that was! He blushed bit, "Sorry that was really weird thing to say. What I tried to say is that at least you have the memories to carry with you." He personally would happily rather forget everything he had lived up until that point.

"Well, I guess if neither of us are going on the tour, we'll find something more interesting to do then, eh? What do you prefer?" Sabre asked, smiling.
"Well we could go get something from the canteen and then just go sit outside and just get to know each other more I guess, like hobbies and interests," she smiles as she walks with Sabre towards the showers. "But if you suggest something different then we could do that instead."

Noir smiled bit, "My parents... well we never were what you'd call warm family, dad still thinks mom cheated on him with someone and had me with someone else since neither of them has as light hair or red eyes like I do so I'm kind of used trying to pretend that I'm invisible whenever I was around them. Alexander could see the mixture of emotions in the other boy's face as he touched his shoulder, hoping to calm him a bit. "Sorry about that, but for both of us, I think moreover it's the chance to make our TRUE memories from this point on. The past is just that...the past."

He glanced over seeing the next person having been moved on as he nodded. "I think it's your turn - finally" he winked.



"Well we could go get something from the canteen and then just go sit outside and just get to know each other more I guess, like hobbies and interests," she smiles as she walks with Sabre towards the showers. "But if you suggest something different then we could do that instead."

"No, no, that sounds just fine. Thank you," Sabre nodded. "What do you usually like to do to relax?" she wondered as they continued down the hallway, noticing a few other students wandering around, coming and going out of rooms, figuring they were doing the same as them before the upcoming tour that they would not be going on, and she couldn't help but if anyone else had that same idea. Probably.

Alexander touched his shoulder, calmly. "Sorry about that, but for both of us, I think moreover it's the chance to make our TRUE memories from this point on. The past is just that...the past." Well that was true and so far his experience in this school hadn't been that bad. Next few years wouldn't probably be bad either, in fact he was kind of looking forward to it already.

He lingered on bit longer to wait until Alexander got his key too then said, "I'm in room 101, which one's yours?"

"Wonder what our roommates'll be like?" he said heading towards the stairs. "I have to tell you, I was a little disappointed that we kinda couldn't get single rooms, but...I suppose thats a way for students to get to know one another better," he shrugged.

"Ah, let's see...114, so I'm nearby if you need to find me" he smiled, then looked thoughtful for a moment before speaking again. "Wonder what our roommates'll be like?" he said heading towards the stairs. "I have to tell you, I was a little disappointed that we kinda couldn't get single rooms, but...I suppose thats a way for students to get to know one another better," he shrugged. Noir smiled as they headed up the stairs, "Well I guess everyone is bit nervous at the start so it's probably gonna be easier to break the ice between you and your roommate right at the start." He laughed nervously, "Honestly though I'm afraid too but we'll see how things turn out. At least we have each other for company if our roommates turn out to be unbearable." He winked to Alexander between staring at the room numbers as they walked on 98, 99, 100... And there it was, his room. He turned to Alexander one last time, "Well I'll disappear here now, see you later and I hope you get a nice roommate."

Noir smiled as they headed up the stairs, "Well I guess everyone is bit nervous at the start so it's probably gonna be easier to break the ice between you and your roommate right at the start." He laughed nervously, "Honestly though I'm afraid too but we'll see how things turn out. At least we have each other for company if our roommates turn out to be unbearable." He winked to Alexander between staring at the room numbers as they walked on 98, 99, 100... And there it was, his room. He turned to Alexander one last time, "Well I'll disappear here now, see you later and I hope you get a nice roommate."

Alexander had to agree with his logic there. It wasn't as if he didn't get along well with others anymore like he used to, but he was still kinda shy at first meeting someone until he could gage whether they were worth his time or not. Noir was very likeable he decided, and he could tell the boy probably needed something positive in his life from hearing him mumble the first time while they were in that insane line. He hoped they would continue to be good friends while they were here and hopefully make even more friends.

As Noir came to his room, he waved goodbye to him and continued further down the hallway until he came upon his own room - 114. He took a breath before unlocking the door "Hello? Anyone home?" he called out entering the room.

Alexander headed on his way and Noir took a deep breath opening the door to his room. He stared at the dark haired young man quiet for a second, he had clearly been in the room for a while already as he was nearly done unpacking. Noir smiled nervously, "Uh... hi, I'm Noir your roommate." He shifted his luggage bit so he freed a hand so he could shake hands with him if he wanted to do that.

Whilst Emit sits on the floor, his hands start to get dry so he spits on his hands then runs them together. "That is seriously disgusting, but until I can find my hand cream it will have to do," he said to himself as he finishes taking out the clothes.
All of a sudden the door opens and a white haired boy stares at Emit for a second. "Uh... hi, I'm Noir your roommate." He shifted his luggage a bit.
Emit gets up immediately "Hey there Noir, I am Emit, nice to meet you..." Emit then goes to shake the boys and but then pulls his hands away. "Oh sorry I have venom on my hands and I wouldn't want to touch that if I was you," he laughed placing the last clothing into the wardrobe and then turning his attention to Noir


"No, no, that sounds just fine. Thank you," Sabre nodded. "What do you usually like to do to relax?" Sabre asked.
"It seriously depends on the situation usually though I like to sit out in the sunshine and sometimes read or just listen to music. But most times I am swimming in a lake or just floating on top of the water whilst I sing," she then looks at Sabre. "How about yourself, what do you do to relax?" She asked as they enter the shower room.

His roommate got up immediately to introduce himself, "Hey there Noir, I am Emit, nice to meet you..." He was about to shake his hand then suddenly pulled it away and Noir cocked a brow confused, was he playing with him now? "Oh sorry I have venom on my hands and I wouldn't want to touch that if I was you," Emit laughed and he paled bit, venom??? Noir laughed nervously "Well I guess shaking hands wouldn't be too wise in that case then." He dropped his bags on the floor to free his hands then held his plant up, "Do you mind if I place this by the window? It needs light and I think it can get most of it there."

Noir laughed nervously "Well I guess shaking hands wouldn't be too wise in that case then." Emit chuckled as he wipes his hand down with a cloth that he had in his bag.
"Do you mind if I place this by the window? It needs light and I think it can get most of it there." Noir asked.
"Of course you can, It won't bother me," Emit answers and he starts to change into something more comfortable, a track suit maybe? "Are you going to be joining the tour in a while?" He asks as he takes a seat.
