Terces Academy Roleplay Thread (this is where the game is)

Jörg shrugged, "Could be, probably depends where you're working though ..." Shin nodded thoughtful in response. Just then Asha pushed the front door open dragging her bag behind herself. "You two got a lot to talk about eh?"

(OOC: Sorry i've been slow at my responses; it's a holiday week at my job - I'm off Mondy - so we're super busy so I don't have as much time in the day to reply ^^;;;)



Emit looks at them, “I don’t mind going first. I mean what can possibly happen?” He looks around on the walls seeing some sort of slime and weeds. “Plants grow in this sort of place?” He asks himself as he steps behind the wall.
“Ok guys so far nothing but I think the closer we get in the more chance of being attacked by something.”
Elyssa tilted her head, "Uh guys, before heading further in how about making sure that the door actually can be opened from that side too?"
That was indeed a good point how could he forget? He thought that most entrances must have an exit as well shouldn't they? Anyway Emit poked his head through and looked around to see if there was some sort of switch or something, but he couldn't see anything. Emit then waited to see if the others had spotted something.

"Well, unless this thing has a switch mechanism to snap back in place once we enter here like going into a haunted house, even if we enter, whose to say it probably won't close us in and we'll have to find something else anyway?" Alex wondered looking around. "And plants growing on secret passageways - not uncommon considering I'm sure they don't care to try and keep these places kept like they would the gardens outside," he shrugged. "If there's a curse on these places, I'm not sure what to do because I'm not trained in curse breaking. There is some sort of energy here, but I'm not sure if it's good or bad..." he added looking around, but not touching anything.



Reiss looked at Hawke in shock, “You don’t know Beauty and the Beast? The one I am talking about is the Disney classic; it was the 30th classic and was released in 1991. I have seen the Broadway version too and loved it but I love my classics,” Reiss smiled
“Wow you couldn’t out gay yourself anymore Reiss could you?” Caiden laughed before getting a glare from the Liberian and a hush!
“This is slightly smaller than the one we used to go to where we lived. It’s not too small nor to big which is better I guess because you wont be getting lost and I am guessing its easier to find a book,” Caiden whispered as he watched as the Liberian walked away. He walks over to a shelve, picking out a book, “I wonder what sorts of books they have in here? Picture books? Magical books? Storybooks?” He asks as he looks around at the nearest shelve.
Reiss decided to walk over to the seating area and taking a seat on one of the sofas, “I am going to have a rest for a bit whilst you two look around I am tired,” He says as he gets yelled a shut up from the Liberian. He rolls his eyes and whispers, “What ever.”

Hawke loved Reiss! He was so entertaining how excited he'd get over something he was into that he liked to talk about - especially if you weren't familiar with them. He had to stifle his laughter as to not get scolded by the librarian as well as he looked around, spotting a young woman not too far away wondering what she was looking for. Probably research for a test or something he had to wonder? "I'm sure the magic books are covered being the place that this is; not so certain about the other two though..." he looked around. He wasn't really looking for anything in particular at this time. It was just exciting to actually be in a library and have time to really explore!

Emit looked at Alex and shrugged,
"Well I don't mind walking ahead and looking for an exit, I am seriously positive there is one as it does finish somewhere in the school as the map showed. Knowing our luck it will most likely be in a classroom," emit sighed as he watches what he steps on.
"So there is some sort of energy about?" Well if there is a curse they will have suffer the consequences, that's if there is one. Enit hi ought maybe if they put some beast as a trap, how in earth will they respond to it? All Emit could do was spit poison but then again if it's strong enough to kill a human he was sure it would do some sort of effect on the beast.
Emit walks further in looking around, seeing that it gets darker and darker, "we are going to need some sort of light?" Looking against the wall he notices candle wall chandeliers, "does anyone know of a way to light these?" Emit asks as he pauses and looks behind him.

I think that would be fun looking at but I wouldn't do anything from it knowing bad karma would hit me," Caiden giggled as he picked out books, skipped the pages and then placed them back.
"Or do you think the head mistress had to remove those sorts of books due to evil being spreader around the school?" He questioned standing for a moment to think about it.
Reiss was indeed relaxing as he was fast asleep being in his own world and all.
"We have sleeping beauty over there waiting for prince Phillip to come along and kiss him awake. More like the Liberian coming along slamming a book to wake him," He laughed looking at Hawke.

Hawke couldn’t stop himself from laughing aloud at that last statement by Caiden. Speaking of said librarian, she gave them another warning glare as Hawke shrugged a sorry, before turning back around to look at the books. “Hm...I doubt they’d have anything of major danger just sitting out like that if they wanted to prevent someone from blowing the school up, trying to take over the world or whatever” He said before taking a book off the shelf and looking through it briefly before hearing a voice behind him.

It was that girl.



Flora had 2 of the books in hand that she needed, but the third was nearby to where those two guys were standing. She didn’t mean to interrupt them, but she did want to finish getting her books together. As she neared them, she heard them talking about black magic and whatnot. She had sensed some books with evil in the last section she was searching, and she knew about some dangerous combinations for poisons and whatnot using thankfully hard to find plants. She learned the good and the bad in the world of magic, but she knew there was so much more

As she approached the red headed boy, she called out “Excuse me? The book I need is where you’re standing”

Asha hummed bit before replying, "Oh yeah, that's how it was." No wonder it had felt so light while she had carried 'her' bag earlier...

Emit watched Elyssa as she used her magic power lighting up the whole alley. As soon as it lit up Emit could see the details on the walls and the so called weed was poison Ivy. Luckily the others didn't touch that or they would of all been leaving early.

He looked at the details on the wall and there was some sort of written messages, but in some sort of language that he wasn't sure of. It looked as if it was Arabic but wasn't.

Emit watched Elyssa as she used her magic power lighting up the whole alley. As soon as it lit up Emit could see the details on the walls and the so called weed was poison Ivy. Luckily the others didn't touch that or they would of all been leaving early.

Alex noticed the writing as well. "Damn, can't read this. Let me try something...I don't know if it'll work though..." he said holding out his hands, closing his eyes to concentrate as his magic flowed over the wording. He'd only done this a couple of times, and it was to either translate his speech or someone elses - he'd never done it against writing, but he was hoping the concept would be the same.

"I'm still curious though, what were you doing there with Shin and Aisling?" Asha asked smiling. "Nothing all that special - we just ended up having some small talk after playing sort of football."
