Personality: Emit is friendly towards anyone and is really easy to get along with as he is laid back and excepts you for who you are. But once he is angry he can’t be stopped. Emit would rather be outside painting or hang around with friends. As his interests are History. He tries and focuses more on that rather then his power as he cant control the venom inside his body.

Background: Emit was bought up in a perfect house hold where he was a golden child. He was always getting brilliant grades, was captain in his sports team and was loved by his parents. Every time his family where to get together he would always look after his younger cousins and tell his family members stories about his life in school and what events he was involved in. He was most favored within the family but his brother couldn’t cope and watch this all happen.
His brother started to get jealous of the attention that Emit was gaining by his family and friends so he tried to take that all away from him buy trying to kill off Emit. As Emit returned from school one evening his brother, Tyler had made him a tea, Emit not knowing that Tyler had added rat poisoning to it. So After Emit finishes the tea, he starts to feel the poison kicking in but Emit already has venom in him and drinking the poison had triggered it to run through his body. Emit brown eyes all of sudden turn a poisonous green and he grips his brother against the wall. His brother screaming at him to let him go, shouting abuse at Emit, Emit spits in his brothers face not knowing the venom is in his Saliva. His brother slowly becomes pale, the venom quickly running through his body, Tyler collapses to the ground and dies. Emit Looks to see what he has done and his eyes calm down but stay green, he falls to the ground to try and feel a heartbeat. Screaming at his brother to wake up shaking him around, his Parents hear and rush to the kitchen to see Emit holding his dead brother and tears falling from his eyes. His dad rushing over to Emit, picking him up from the neck and holds him against the wall. Screaming at Emit “What have you done, Son?” All Emit could do was cry. His father starts going mad shouting at Emit, blaming him whilst his mother sits on the floor with Tyler holding his head to her chest. Emit sees he isn’t wanted anymore so he makes a dash for it.
After sometime living away from home he sees an advert for Terces and decides to go there, as it was the only place where he will learn more about his powers and how to control it.

Likes: Ava likes to sit around a lake or go to the beach and sit on the sand and watch the waves get closer to the shore. Also in her free time she likes to sing songs but make sure she is alone and not around any one. Sometimes she likes to be alone (being on her own all her life is only what she remembers).
Dislikes: 3 things that Ava dislikes are competition, rejection and Lightning. She doesn't like it when girls try competing against each other over looks or boys. She believes there isn't any point fighting over small things like that. Rejection is one thing she hates. She fears it will destroy her again. And the sound of lighting gets her hiding in the nearest cupboard or lake.
Personality: Ava has split personalities due to her past. She has some positives such as beig Kind, Friendly, Mysterious and Hypnotising. And some of the negatives are Jealously, Cold Blooded, Selfish, Temper, Centre of Attention.
Strong points: her strong points are her hypnotising, she can control anyone/thing at will. And her swimming skills, she can control the water as well as swimming deep to the ocean floor.
Weak points: her weak point is Love. Falling for someone makes her weaker the deeper she is in love with that particular person. It is love between her and a man not friends or family.

Interests: Raising her children to be good people, making Terces better place to for everyone to study, she thinks that school should be place to make pleasant memories not something to remember shuddering in horror afterwards.
Likes: Her husband and kids, Terces and its teachers (especially now that they're all supposed to do whatever she tells them to do)
Dislikes: Mean and loud people, people who try to force their beliefs on her.
Personality: As she grew older she turned a lot calmer. She cares a lot about people around her and is always ready to put everyone's needs over hers. She also has learned to stick with her opinions and say 'no' if the situation calls for it. She still spends a lot of time thinking about things but now actually has the power to make stuff reality too.
Strong points: Can view situations from different perspectives, hard worker, very understanding and kind.
Weak points: Easy to make question her decisions and occasionally she feels powerless when she can't do everything herself. Still has some issues trusting in others to do their work without her having to meddle with things.
Background:
With Aeth's health starting to take turn for the worse he was forced to make decisions regarding who'd take over Terces. Haine and his both daughters informed him that they weren't interested but traditionally the school had been passed down in the family for generations. Ada couldn't just step back and let him close the school or look for someone outside of the family to take over so she asked if she counts as close enough relative since she was married to his son and after some pondering Aeth accepted her as his successor. For few years she helped Aeth out with his work just to get hang of things and now this year she's finally taking her new post - as the headmaster of Terces. While Haine wasn't exactly screaming in joy about her decision he decided that he'd still do his best to support her, not like whining about it would make things better somehow.

Special skills (both normal and magical): capable of creating illusions, (as far as she knows) only relating to herself

Interests: Art, cinematography (she loves, loves movies – but only if they’re stunning), detective stories (especially if they’re vivid and flowery written)
Likes: Post-Impressionist art (especially van Gogh, she really wishes she could work with colours like that), sketching, cinema, coffee shops (she loves the buzz of people around her), mystery novels
Dislikes: too much focus on her, being misgendered, working with paints, blockbuster cinema (it’s so ugly, damn it), ignorance

Personality: She is rather held-back and not a particularly tactile person, tends to flinch when people touch her too intimately (which, in her case, often includes waist or back). A very opinionated person but often has no idea how to put her feelings of injustice into words. Personal information is a very sensitive topic for her, therefore it’s often held back, unless you gain her trust. If you do, however, she becomes very likable, sometimes even clingy. She is the kind of friend you will hold for life. Her goal is to one day become a teacher.
Strong points: very tolerant and accepting, creative, great sketch artist, strong illusionist – it’s almost become unconscious by now
Weak points: withdrawn, tends to seem aloof to people because of it, very reserved, very critical of herself, she’s a disaster with paints – she tends to smear them and it never comes out right

Background: When Max was small, she was the apple of her mother’s eye. Golden boy, they called her, her father so proud of his son. The problem was, Max didn’t think she was a boy. She didn’t feel like a boy at all. She doesn’t remember exactly what happened the first time she said so, but it can’t have been pleasant. After that, her parents made it their mission to educate her to become a “proper” boy. She was home-schooled until the age of 13 and it was very unpleasant, especially as her (at the time) wavering illusion powers kicked in and there was very little boyish about her. It ended with her parents giving her into foster care – perhaps the best decision they could have made – in a tearful admission that they didn’t know what to do anymore.
This, in Max’s mind, is when her life truly started. Foster care wasn’t always pleasant but it was stable and people didn’t care how she looked for the most part. In fact, when she first got to school she found both a truly understanding teacher and a close friend. She was terrified of her first day at school, of what the others would think and see. But the thing is, they didn’t. To them she just looked like another girl and that’s what they took her as. The only ones who didn’t were the teachers, who had access to her files. And while that tormented her, there was one woman, a young substitute teacher, who took her to the side one day and revealed that she understood. Through her, Max learned a lot more about herself and how the world perceived her. She still has a close email-based friendship with the woman. It was also her, who introduced Max to Terces, and encouraged her to go there to work on her powers.
One day, Max hopes that the illusions won’t be necessary anymore to show who she truly is inside. But until then, she will work hard on them, so she never has to hear anyone call her names again.

Name: Andy Huang (actually, the name would be Anders Min Huang, after both grandfathers, but who wants to be called that – thank you very much parents!)

Special skills (both normal and magical): Telekinesis (which he often shamelessly abuses), can summon protective shield (only in life-threatening situations though, it’s more instinctual than anything), very vociferous and charismatic

Interests: He’s actually one big nerd – he loves tabletop RPGs and really loud music, to which he sings, very badly. He also blogs (his blog is fairly obscure, but does have a loyal readership) regularly about anything that might come to mind.
Likes: RPGs, rock music, night, poetry – especially modern, as pretentious as it sounds, talking, people watching (also watching them play sports)
Dislikes: Silence, being alone, classical music, being made fun of

Personality: Andy is a generally optimistic person with a bit of a mischievous streak. He’s not shy about the things he loves and trying to get people to come along with him. Being alone is really the worst thing for him. He hates getting up early with a passion, but if he has to, he’ll be the first to be ready. He’s been called nerdy before a time or ten, but he’s never cared much about it. Why give people the satisfaction? Besides, there’s better things to do with your time than be ashamed of who you are. He talks a lot, babbles often, actually, but he’s charming enough that people don’t get annoyed too easily.
Strong points: He’s a talker, and a good one at that, loyal and good-natured
Weak points: He’s not very good at sports (picking up balls with your mind is generally seen as cheating and frowned upon), can be very impatient especially when something exciting is happening, he gets into trouble a lot

Background: Andy is the son of a Chinese entrepreneur and a baker. His father is actually half Norwegian, which would make him … God, don’t even ask. His parents usually tended to be understanding but firm in their plans for him – they’ve always been of the opinion that he should make something of himself, maybe become an engineer. It’s just that Andy’s never seen himself in that. He’s always wanted to become an actor – after all, roleplaying is one of his favourite pastimes and that’s pretty much the same, right? Naturally, his parents don’t agree. Their relationship is somewhat strained because of it, but he’s very close to his older sister, who makes a mean pastry and shares all his secrets. Terces was his idea more than his parents – perhaps they’re hoping the change in scenery will somehow get him to grow out of his childhood dreams.

No worries about either pictures or double posting, it's been quiet here :3 (+ I haven't finished characters yet either, oops... As my defense though my head has been filled with PHP-coding and desperately TRYING to understand it. ^^U) Can't wait to see your Sims though, it's been a looong while since I've seen your pictures :D

Special skills (both normal and magical): Expert in alchemy and many kinds of magics, has awesome accuracy when throwing stuff at others. (That is usually chalks at students who aren't listening his lesson or bother his teaching somehow else)

Interests: Alchemy and magic
Likes: There aren't many things he actually likes but if he really has to list things then it would have to be his wife, reading and writing, strong coffee
Dislikes: Everything a lot of things.
Personality: Stubborn and really aggressive and impulsive if annoyed. While he enjoys teaching students who follow and understand the topic the opposite kind of people annoy him to no end. He appears cold and distant but if you manage getting close to him he's actually pretty warm and understanding.
Strong points: Hayato is enthusiastic about things that interest him and can easily explain things for hours without getting bored about it. He's also rather stubborn which is either very good or very bad thing.
Weak points: Has terrible temperament and he gets easily annoyed. He's generally bit hard to get along with.
Background: In his youth he was a student at Terces too and got interested in the topic of Magic so much that he eventually ended up making that his job. Having already ten years of teaching behind he has seen a lot of students both good and bad so he no longer really feels surprised about anything thrown to him. Working as teacher he also got to meet his wife Jillian.

Special skills (both normal and magical): Has somewhat annoying ability to attract animals - he doesn't particularly enjoy it since it has earned him some nicknames he'd rather not have (like 'Snow White'). As far as he's aware he also can make plants grow faster. Not surprisingly he also has 'green thumb' so to say. (=he's good at growing plants even without magic)
Element: Plant
Interests: Generally he's interested in history and botany but right now he's also interested in learning everything there is to learn about magic. Maybe he can eventually learn to appreciate his skill if he can understand it better?
Likes: Plants. They're quiet and show their gratitude openly and are much easier to deal with than humans are.
Dislikes: People nosing into his business. If he doesn't tell something to someone that means he doesn't want them to know! Why is it so hard for others to understand?
Personality: Although he controls one most cheerful element there is he tends to be bit of a gloom cookie. He gets upset easily and shows it mostly through being silent and sulking.
Strong points: Good listener although that's mostly because he rarely knows what to say.
Weak points: He gets easily flustered when he doesn't understand something. Also while he's not exactly shy he doesn't really know what to talk about with people, not many people care about how his bonsai tree is coming along so he tends to just stay quiet and listen to the other people ramble whatever they feel like talking about and nod and smile even if he doesn't particularly care about the topic.
Background: Comes from a family that doesn't have magical abilities so he was odd one among them and got generally shunned because of that. Too often he asks himself why he was given magical powers, he would have lived just fine without them. In fact his life would probably have been better without them. He decided to head to Terces prompted by his teacher who told him about the school filled with magic - a place where he'd be considered normal.

Weak points: She has tendency to find girls as competitors and prefers company of boys over them. She also misses her brothers a lot since they let her get away with practically everything but here she doesn't have that advantage.
Background: Her parents died when she was small so she was raised by her three older brothers. They're really close and have good relationship but they might have spoiled her a little too much and without mother model she doesn't really know how girls are supposed to be so she is quite tomboyish.

Background: Jillian studied and graduated on a magical school somewhere in England for her family thought she’d evolve best at that place as long as they sent her enough money to grant a fulfilled life. She first felt left alone there but soon made a whole lot of friends and levelled her grades up to valedictory. She started her teacher career as a trainee at Terces ten years ago and soon became a regular teacher there. Her superior back then was the man that she is married to nowadays.

Personality: It's sometimes led by the mood of music he's tryin to develop, but his true personality is hidden considering it does change so often, but in general, if you're nice to him, he'll be nice to you.
Strong points: Singing, Cooking
Weak points: Getting up early, trusting people easily
Background: His parents were killed in a car accident upon coming back from a trip when he was 12, so he was sent to a nearby orphanage. For a while, he became bitter and lashed out at anyone not having anything to focus his rage into and that resulted in the other orphans being scared of him. One rainy afternoon, the head of the orphanage came and brought him an old guitar they had in their house and they said he could use it to have something to take his frustration out on instead of the other occupants in the house. And so he practiced...and practiced...and soon he was able to draw people in with his songs and stories that he was able to construct through his heart. Not too long after that, the head of the orphan told him about the Academy and asked him if he was interested in attending. At first he got upset thinking that he wasn't wanted again, but she assured him that it was because of his power and talent that she wanted him to be able to balance himself out and hopefully become a wonderful musician one day and maybe be able to make a profession out of it.

Personality: Sabre is probably the most introvert of all of her siblings as she doesn't get along with others easily considering her abilities, although once in a while she may allow someone in, but only after she can tell their intent towards her

Weak points: Not being able to teleport long distances and ends up in trouble - working on it though
Background: Sabre comes from a rather large family and old money. The money comes from an import/outport business her great-great-great grandparents started and has been going strong since. However, there was a family superstition that's kept them all guessing as to if or when it would come true. The saying was started as such: 'There will be a dark secret hidden within that will bring light to all'. No one was certain what that 'dark secret' was until Sabre turned 14 and began being quite mischievous - playing tricks on her sisters, being in one place one moment and then another for another. She got away with it for about 2 1/2 years without being noticed. However, shortly after she'd turned 17, she'd got caught sneaking back in due to a silent alarm she didn't know had been set up in the house. After a family meeting the next morning and learning the truth of the matter, her parents decided to send her to Terces - for a variety of reasons, although Sabre knew the real one why. Bah! Superstitions are for those who have weak minds and hearts she thought; however, this would be an interesting new challenge since she'd be around others that were similar to her here. What the hell, right?

Btw, would you prefer everyone having a roommate (with other player if possible) or "NPC" roommate? (this is general question aimed at everyone, feel free to reply to this topic) I'll assign the rooms randomly once we get that far. :) This would also be good moment to say if you absolutely want or don't want real roommate. I personally enjoy having someone in the same room 'cause it's fun to me to play with that kind of element but I can understand it's not something everyone likes. (also a reminder, if you can't work things out with your roommate you can request room change, that can also be used if your character is together with NPC-roommate and you'd prefer getting a real one afterwards)
