Shin smiled, "'m teachin' Aislin' how to punch without breakin' her knuckles, I was plannin' to borrow actual practice gloves from the school gym later tonight so she can practice throwin' real punches too." She explained adding, "After we get punchin' down we'll study some kicks 'n then move onto chops and then we'll think of where to continue if she's still interested at that point. Girl gotta know how to hold her side inna big bad world, 'ltho her mama maybe slightly disagrees with that." She laughed, "She was like, 'Shin can't ya teach 'er to crochet or sumthin' instead?' I dun even know how crochet! I can barely sew a button back to a shirt."

Icon frowned. "Hmm...well, I'd have to say I agree with Ada. Not everything in this world is bad. Yes, we might've had a rough time of it ourselves, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll ring true for her or her siblings. I've experienced both good and bad in the world, but I'd prefer for there to be LESS violence in this world, not more. What if she were to hurt another person unnecessarily? What would that that do for her perception from others in the world? She'd have a bad reputation where one isn't needed" Icon shook his head. "She should devote her energy more towards being a child, not being thrust into something she has no knowledge of. And as far as sewing goes, I can show her that too. It's not something I have to deal with very often, but I'm kinda glad my Mom did teach me how to fix clothes. Saves a lot of money" he chuckled.

Asha nodded, "Sure, I haven't been at the canteen yet so it will be good to see that one too."
As she spoke to the nurse, Asha was sitting and waiting for her. After being told to watch where she goes and be more careful Ava walks over to Asha, "shall we make a move now?" Ava asked smiling at Asha.

She sighed, "Yer man, ya dun hafta worry 'bout sumone draggin' ya in the dark alley 'n doin' stuff to ya, I've been through that 'n there's no way ya can convince me that suddenly world will turn into a better place where all women can walk free without havin' to worry of that even bein' possibility since that will never happen."

Being mindful of Aislin being in their presence, Icon decided to cut the conversation short and have it with her when they didn't have an audience. There were a couple of things she was wrong about, but he didn't wish to make an issue of it currently.

"Hmm...," Icon shrugged, then checked his watch. "Well, then, if you'll excuse me ladies, I need to finish my run before my class. I'll catch up with you later" he waved before running off.

She talked from experience, he didn't really have right to say that it had all been untrue. She looked at Aisling, "Well hun, maybe we should go check if yer mama has breakfast ready now? We can continue practicing later, we can ask Aion to join too." Knowing self-defense wouldn't hurt him either and if she had two kids they could practice body-locks on each other. The little girl nodded skipping ahead and she glanced after Icon one last time wondering what exactly he had wanted to say before heading inside too.

"We'll to be honest I am really not sure what I want to study. I love Art, Literature and Music but I don't think I will be doing music. So I guess Art and Literature," Ava smiled before asking, "how about yourself? What topics are you planning on doing?" She asked as they make their way to the canteen.

The rest will come together eventually and depend a lot on the teachers since I don't plan to waste time listening to someone who can't convince me that their topic is the most important topic of them all." As they got to the canteen she grimaced, no not this guy again! Don't notice me don't notice me... she prayed in her mind knowing that it was pretty useless to wish for that when you had so outstanding hair color.

"Flashy hair color, you said?!" Jörg asked nodding towards the entrance of the canteen. "Uh-huh, that's her," Nathan answered grimacing a little. "She didn't drag the tramp with makeup along earlier though." Jörg chuckled, "I take it they're both not your type, eh? - Gimme five mate." Nathan grinned slightly as their hands clapped together; yes, the two of them would definitely get along well.

Ava thought for a second which she did make sense what was the point of going on class and just listening to a teacher and get bored of. As they got to the canteen Ava sees Sabre sitting at a table so she thought of going to sit next to her but she noticed that Asha looked as if she was trying to avoid someone. "Is something wrong Asha?" She asked before continuing, "is it ok if we sit next to my friend over there," pointing at the table where Sabre was sitting.

The faster she could build a human barrier around herself the faster she'd be safe from the likes of him. She glanced toward him one last time and for a split second their eyes locked together, he had noticed her. SHIT. Hastily she sat to Ava's friend's table and smiled at the other girl, "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Asha."

"Sure, let's go sit with your friend." Ava looks over to Asha and she looked like she was worried about something and looked over at some weird white haired guy, must be some a friend or something. They walked over to the table and Ava took a seat besides Sabre. "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Asha." Asha said to Sabre.
As Ava was sitting she picks up the menu and looks to see what sounds interesting

They walked over to the table and Ava took a seat besides Sabre. "Hi, nice to meet you, I'm Asha." Asha said to Sabre.

Sabre, being lost in her thoughts at the moment, didn't even hear the two approach until she hears Ava sit down and Asha speak.
"Oh, hi. I'm so sorry. Lost in my thoughts there for a moment. I'm Sabre," she took the other girl's hand in hers shaking it firmly. "Nice to meet you."

She smiled sheepishly, "Sorry for being the dumbo here but... how does the canteen work here? I mean usually at schools you pick a tray, go to the line and take whatever is available and hope it doesn't taste like glue." What Ava had in her hands was clearly a menu so apparently there were options in this school. Shocking!

Asha smiled at her, "I love your name, it sounds dangerous." Sabre giggled. She'd never had her name described in such a way before; it was kinda flattering. Yes, she probably could be dangerous given the situation, but thankfully she's never had to do anything to lead up to such. Bringing herself back into the conversation at hand, she shook her head. "Oh, don't worry about that. I'm new here too and I had to just observe for a moment before I understood. It's almost like being in a restaurant. Just pick out what you want and place your order," Sabre smiled picking up a menu as well and glancing over it. "Hmmm...today I think I feel like a western omelette and a side of fruit. How about you two?"

(Reposting because I changed my mind about how I want his day to start)

Closing his eyes tight in agony as the venom burns his throat he keeps on throwing it up. After a few minutes he sits away from the toilet and leans against the cubicle side.

"I didn't allow enough venom out yesterday and now I am stuck throwing it up," he says to himself as he sits besides the toilet.

Alex was up early enough to get a shower and get ready for their first official day of class. Last night had gone smashingly having entertained his new friends, although it was even more entertaining that he'd gotten them all to bed without them realizing he was controlling them. They'd be ok though since that was a harmless effect of his power.

He was happy to have met the people he had so soon and fortunate to have a entertaining roommate. He was aware that he would have mood swings from time to time because he had them too, so he'd have to be careful of what he did. He headed to the bathrooms to relieve himself when he heard someone getting sick on one of the toilets.
