As Ava continued to look around, she notices a black book, taking it off the shelf, she found it had blood stains all over and inside the book. "That is disgusting, I am placing this back," she says cringing. She continues to look around the library before deciding to go upstairs where the books start getting more interesting and dark. She looks to her side and she sees Sabre looking and getting into the books. "I wonder what she is looking at?" she whispered to herself as she continues to look through the books.
After a while of looking at books she comes across a book about sirens, she looked at it and then looked away, "people will eventually find out..." She whispers as a tear falls from her eye.

Sabre sat down the 4th book she’d gone through having read through information regarding spirits, gods, and various creatures, but not the one she cared to know about just so she’d be more knowledgable about it. It wouldn’t change her friendship with Ava regardless, but she felt that the other girl probably wouldn’t come outright and tell her directly considering their earlier conversations when she seemingly would drift onto another subject. She grabbed another book and read the title of it “Mermaid Legends”. Sabre recalled Ava mumbling something about Mermaids as well, so she figured this might tell her more as she opened the book and began thumbing through it.

The other boy’s responding grin was bright.
“That’d be cool. Hey, would that mean you can literally make people swoon with your music. Because if so, I’d really like a warning beforehand … and possibly something soft to swoon onto, you know how it is. Can’t go around abusing my roommate’s powers before even getting to know him properly, now can I?” he said.
Alex doubled over in laughter. “Oh man! You ever thought about going into stand up comedy sometime? You’re hilarious!”

Andy looked thoughtful a moment before answering his question regarding the tour. “Oh yeah, almost forgot about that,” he shrugged, “I wasn’t really planning on going either, where’s the fun and adventure in just having everything told to you? That way you can’t get lost on your way to class only to arrive at the last second, noticing that there is only one seat in the room left and it’s next to your future soul mate … or something like that anyway. Plus, I bet they conveniently forget to show you all the fun stuff you can get up to when you’re supposed to be a good student, so that’d be boring. Food sounds good by the way, so I’m with you. Oh, and before I forget, if I talk to much just tell me to shut up. I can work well with instructions, provided they come from the right people.” He grinned again.

Alex wiped the tears of mirth from his eyes and headed for the door. “Let’s go then. And no, you’re fine on your talking. Trust me, I’ll let you know if you talk too much. I’ll just sing you to sleep or something” he winked.

"I think I'll try the pasta, haven't had that for a while." Noir answered.
"Yum. I think I am going to have steak," he responded placing down the menu before heading to the kitchen. Once he went in he ordered his food and took a seat before starting to eat his food. The meat he ordered was red as anything as he preferred to have it medium rare rather then overly cooked.

It had started to get dark out side and she had finished the books she collected. As she got up to stretch, the books picked themselves up and floated to the bookcase where they were taken off. She looked to her left and right and there was more students then before just sitting, she them started to wander to see of she could see Sabre anywhere. After sometime she finds her bit doesn't go to close and murmurs, "I am going to go now," before turning around and heading out.

Elyssa smiled, "I'm glad you feel better." She got up offering hand for Max to pull her up too. Max hesitated for a moment before taking it and standing.
“I suppose it’s no use going back to the tour now,” she sighed, “We … um, we could do something else if you’d like?”

He followed Alex out the door and down the hallways until they found the canteen. There were enough other students around that apparently either the tour was already finished anyway or most people hadn’t cared at all. Probably the latter, actually, he somehow doubted many students had been willing to let themselves be herded around the school. Also, food was far more interesting. Which reminded him …
“God, I’m starving. I wonder if the food’s any good here. I mean, it can’t be as good as back home, my dad and sister have this bakery and they are the masters of cuisine, I swear to you. But, I mean, I hope it’s at least edible. It has to be, right? Otherwise you’d have heard of students revolting I guess … or at least a few dozen angry facebook posts would exist. Anyway, what are you getting?”

After some time Ava finds her but doesn't go too close and murmurs, "I am going to go now," before turning around and heading out.

Sabre looks up from the book she’s reading seeing Ava leaving all of the sudden. “Ava, wait!” she calls ignoring the librarian’s rule about ‘being quiet’ as she closes the book and it floats back to the shelf along with the other books she had around her as she goes to catch up with the other girl. She then notices that there were more students in the library than there were before they arrived and wondered if that might’ve had something to do with it, considering she did the same thing when students began going into the canteen.

“Nothing like homemade food to soothe the soul,” Alex agreed. “The lady who headed the orphanage I was at made this homemade lasagne that was to die for! I was always ecstatic when she told us it was ‘lasagne night’; of course, eventually I got a bit more curious about cooking, so she taught me some tricks of the trade even her special lasagne,” he chuckled, then eyed the menu and looked over it. “I think a revolt would happen a bit faster than posting on social media, but I suppose we could give it a chance. If anything, I’ll go and kick them out and cook for the school one day if it sucks” he teased. “Hmm...they have a lasagne here, but I know I’d probably be setting myself up for disappointment, so...I’ll play it safe and get a hamburger and fries I think” he said placing his order.

"Yum. I think I am going to have steak," Emit replied placing down the menu before they headed to the kitchen to order their dinners. Once they were back to their seats he munched on his food quietly just taking the taste in for a while before muttering surprised, "Hm, this is actually surprisingly good." More like 'very good' actually. It was nice to know that they wouldn't have to starve while studying there.

Max hesitated for a moment before taking her hand and standing. “I suppose it’s no use going back to the tour now,” she sighed, “We … um, we could do something else if you’d like?” Elyssa grinned, "We could always take a look at the outside on our own, the weather's nice so it would be shame wasting day inside."

“Well, now you’re just making me want to revolt so I can taste that fabled lasagna,” Andy replied, getting himself a hamburger as well, “but I gotta disagree with you. Revolts take work and coordination, anyone can post ‘oh, the food here sucks’ on the internet and get like a billion likes for it. It’s … I don’t know, some form of revolt, too, I guess, just less messy. I mean, I imagine revolting against canteen food involves throwing that food around the cafeteria. Can be fun, especially if you don’t have to touch it to do so but, you know, who likes food in their hair? And who would clean it all up afterwards? Although …” he looked down at his plate contemplatively before shaking his head “Better change the topic before I think of something really stupid to do,” he said grinning.

Elyssa grinned, "We could always take a look at the outside on our own, the weather's nice so it would be shame wasting day inside." Reluctantly Max smiled back. That sounded like something she could enjoy – something involving very few people as well.
“That’s a nice idea,” she said, “I’d like that.” She gestured for Elyssa to lead the way.

Alexander chuckled. “Well just ask and I’m sure I can find enough ingredients to make it sometime” he said, then picked up his sandwich. “Oh yeah food fights are messy considering we had a couple when I was in public school back home and it would be over something as simple as a fashion faux pas or something like that. Sooo stupid,” he rolled his eyes before taking a bite out of his burger. “Besides, cleaning up here I would think would be a bit easier considering some people’s abilities and whatnot. It’s not having to manually get out buckets and crap,” he mumbled around his food before swallowing. Alexander paused a moment and glanced around the canteen seeing how many other students were there when he spotted a familiar shock of blond hair across the room. Could it be…?

Andy shrugged in response. “Sure, probably, but I mean you’d still have to at least supervise the work. Also something could go haywire and then what would happen? We’d live in servitude underneath our great overlord, the cleaning bucket, and it’d be all our own fault, too. I wonder what a cleaning bucket would make its slaves do …” He noticed Alex was staring at something behind him and frowned. “Sorry, am I talking too much? Or did you see someone interesting?” he asked twisting around to see where Alex was looking.

Alex snorted a bit hearing Andy's crazy explanation of a cleaning bucket overlord as he got to his feet. "Excuse me a moment. I think I see someone I was speaking to before. I want to just say hello really quick, I'll be right back," he said getting to his feet and heading over towards where Noir was sitting with Emit.

“That’s a nice idea, I’d like that.” Max said gestured for Elyssa to lead the way. She grinned as she lead the way further away from the school building. She had no idea where she was heading to but she figured that no matter which way they went eventually they'd reach the beach and could always follow that to get back to the school if they got lost. "I'm not responsible if we get lost though." She joked as they walked further ahead.

Alex snorted in response to his musings before getting up unceremoniously. "Excuse me a moment. I think I see someone I was speaking to before. I want to just say hello really quick, I'll be right back.” Andy blinked at his back.
“Um, sure, I guess?” he said to nobody in particular before turning back to his food. Maybe he had put on the weirdness a little too much, people sometimes got annoyed with him because of it. Really, that was just how his brain worked – no mind-to-mouth filter and a lot of strange ideas. In any case, the food was actually quite good, focusing on that might be a good idea. What would the alternative be? Checking out his roommate’s ass? Well … technically that was an option but he didn’t tend to make a habit out of checking out people when they couldn’t see him. Just rude, and disrespectful to boot. Plus, a lot of people he knew – especially guys – tended to be uncomfortable with that sort of thing, so it was better not to do it. And his sister would have a thing or ten to say about objectifying human beings as well … and there he went again, going off on a tangent. He shook his head and sighed before turning to the table and the three guys.
“Hey, just get over here, all of you, alright? I don’t do well with sitting alone, I might make dinner plates float or something.”

Image

Elyssa grinned and led them further away from the school building. Another moment of hesitation and Max fell into step beside her. "I'm not responsible if we get lost though."
„I don’t think this island is particularly big though, is it?” Max mused as she looked out through the trees. It was nice here, peaceful. Perhaps she could come back later and do some sketches … she wished she could capture the colours as well but that was a lost cause, she knew.

Noir glanced over when he noticed someone walking towards their table then smiled recognizing, "Oh hi Alexander!"

Alexander smiled in relief finding his hunch was right. "I thought that was you, Noir," he nodded. "Nice to see you again" he glanced over at his companion. "So did you two go on the tour?" He asked, hearing Andy say something in the background as he glanced over towards their table seeing the other boy looking a bit fidgety and he waved him over to join him.

Another guy called out after Alexander who waved him over to join them. Noir grinned, "Your companion? Doesn't look like he appreciated you leaving him behind, maybe we should just combine our tables. Don't they say the more the merrier?"

"Mm...my roommate. We've been hanging out together and we both skipped the tour and came here instead," Alex shrugged. "He needs to have patience. I only left to make sure it was you first. He's like a puppy sometimes" he sighed a bit exasperated. "If I were wrong I would've returned immediately having corrected myself," he shrugged, then excused himself to get some more chairs.
