To say Ada was terrified would be understatement. She was almost frozen with nervousness and fear. What if she'd be a horrible failure as a headmaster? She was younger than most teachers there and obviously didn't have enough experience, nor did most teachers really have much respect for her either. To them she was almost comparable to the new kids starting their first year in Terces on that sunny morning, just as clueless of what she should expect and every day was another step toward the unknown future. She took a deep breath, no she shouldn't let that be something she would consider as weakness, it was strength. She knew what it was like to be the 'new kid' so she could understand the students better. Yes she'd make it clear to them that she understood them. She still needed another deep breath to calm herself down and reminded herself that she had both Haine and Jonathan there to support her even if everybody else would turn their backs to her. She was ready to face the hall full of students who were there to start their first year as students of Terces.

As she stepped on the stage in front of all the excited new students she smiled at them gently waiting for them to quiet down before she started talking. "Welcome to Terces everyone!" She greeted them smiling, "I'm Ada Blair, the headmaster of this school and just like you this will be my first year here working in this position. Let's not allow that to slow us down the slightest though, I'm sure we can all make the most out of this year even if we're new." She took a breath continuing, "As you've noticed there aren't any older students at the moment, they'll be arriving next week since this year I thought we'd try out getting the new students oriented with the school and rules here first and then after that let you meet your senior students so you won't be completely overwhelmed with all the new experiences and people at once."

So far so good it seemed, most of the people were actually still listening her. "After this I ask you all to head to the main hall, you probably noticed the desk over there by the stairs when you came in? Well that is where you should head next, few teachers there will assign you to your new rooms in the dorm and hand out schedules for this week and school maps. The maps and schedules have been put on the walls all around the school too so if you lose yours you can always take a look at the public ones or ask your new friends to show them to you." She smiled brightly, "For today the schedule is simple, you get to know your rooms and meet your new roommate - yes all the rooms are shared here. If you absolutely can't get along with your roommate you have to talk with the dorm manager who'll see if another room can be arranged but please, try to get along. After that you have some free time to use as you see fit, I guess most of you will unpack or get to know your new classmates. At noon we'll meet here again and you'll be divided into smaller groups and taken for a small tour around the school and the surrounding area. The tour will end at the canteen where you'll get lunch - by then you're probably already starving." Ada glanced around at the expecting young eyes and smiled, "After lunch you're free to go as you wish for the rest of the day. The dinner is served at the canteen between 5-7 PM and if you're still hungry after that you can get something more to eat from the canteen until 9 PM. Breakfast will be available between 7-9 AM so don't oversleep!"

Ada smiled adding, "All that is written to your schedules too in case you didn't quite catch everything." She nodded calmly, "And that was that really, again I welcome you to our beautiful school and sincerely hope you'll enjoy next few years studying here. If anyone has anything on their hearts I'm always available in my office and if I'm not at my office you can find me from my house which is literally behind the school and it will be shown to you during the tour." Ada took one last glance over the new students, yes this would be the first group of people she'd aid through the next few years, she'd support them with all her might. "If you still have something to ask about today's schedule, teachers, school itself, me or about, well anything, now would be perfect chance for that before I let you out to officially sign in the school and get your new rooms and roommates." She smiled as invitingly as she just could, any question thrown to her she'd answer somehow!
It's not you, it's me. You see, I have standards.

After getting a coffee latte from the café, Ava decides to head to the boat before it decides to leave. Seriously now a day’s people don’t allow enough time for one person to do things, such as shopping.
“I guess a few things from Ted Baker will last me till we go on half term,” Ava said looking at her month’s worth of clothes.
She arrives at where the boat sits on the sea and notices a boy looking at her as he climbs in one of the other boats, passing her shopping and suitcase to one of the sailors, she hops on and takes a seat.
“I am seriously excited to see what this school is like, I have read so many reviews and there has been famous people at this school as well,” Ava said to a student next to her, not even paying much attention to her.

The boats arrive at the school’s harbor and everyone slowly starts climbing out the boats and start to collecting their belongings.
“Wow I need a good stretch after that long journey,” Ava says as she stretches out. “Oh my god, what a beautiful building, so looking forward for my visit here.”
Ava grabs her bags and her suitcase and starts making her way up the staircase and into the building.
As she enters all the new students are all gathered at the main entrance and a female stands on a stage and starts talking.
“Oh she must be the head mistress, for some reason I was expecting an old man to me the head master?” Ava stands in confusion whilst listening to the head mistress.

“I see the boats have started to allow students on the boats,” Emit whispers taking a sip from his coffee.
Finishing off his coffee, he stands from his chair and grabs his suitcase and starts making his way to one of the boats. Looking around as he walks he notices people still taking their time shopping or buying last minute items.
“Seriously since they made this new shopping district on this harbor, no one seems to want to leave. As if it the stores are going to disappear soon and they are buying as much as needed.”
Emit arrives at the boat, hands his belongings to the sailors and then jumps on to the boat and sits right at the edge.
“Wouldn’t it be better if you was to get a ship? Rather then these 22 seated boats?” He asks one of the sailors who ignored the question.

After getting off the boat and collected his things, he ends up in the main entrance where students still had to come.
“Oh the joy of being early, what am I going to do now?”

Max absent-mindedly brushed a strand of hair away from her face as she stared at the imposing walls before her. She was sat in the grass against a tree, not far from the school’s main building, with her sketch pad on her knees. The place was quiet still, but it was early yet. She thought it’d be easier this way, arriving without the bustle of dozens of other people around her, give her time to really look at what she’d gotten herself into. Plus, she’d rather be early than late because of any unforeseen complications.
There weren’t many other people around yet, a few others who, like her, had decided to come early and were wandering the premises but that was about it. With a quiet sigh she blinked and turned back to her sketch pad to draw out the first lines of the scene she’d just been looking at. Worrying could come later.

The harbor was more bustling than Andy would have imagined, filled with people chatting and shopping. He looked down at his own recently acquired cup of coffee with a grin. All of it shouldn’t be surprising, really, it was their first day after all, better to use those last wonderful moments of freedom before it was all work. Not that he hated work in general. Oh no, he liked working on some things, but school had altogether too many uninteresting subjects. Then again, maybe that’d change now? He hadn’t really paid attention to all the flyers his parents had been brooding over the past months. He’d just liked the idea of it all (and maybe being away from all the expectations, just a little bit).
“Woah!” Andy side-stepped at the last moment before crashing into a girl he’d seen too late (“Do pay attention, Anders”, he heard his mother’s voice in his head and suppressed an eye-roll). With what he hoped looked like a sufficiently bashful grin he rubbed the back of his neck. “Sorry, sorry, didn’t see you there. My bad!” He threw her another apologetic grin before he ambled towards where the boats were waiting. It was probably high time he got his ass over there before he’d be late.

Turns out, he was just on time. Andy crowded in with the other students, talking and waiting. It was nice, all these people here. The best part of it was that they were all just as new as him, best way to make friends, really. He was just about to turn to his neighbor and introduce himself when the headmaster stepped on stage. Reluctantly but obediently he shut his mouth again to listen to what she had to say. Bad impressions wouldn’t really do for a first impression after all.

Noir had never imagined that his new school would be on an island. Somehow that seemed like really weird place to build a school, wouldn't it have been much more sensible to built it where the city was? On the other hand if they were in the middle of the city people would more likely skip the lessons in favor of going to have fun so maybe it overall made sense after all. The little boats that would take them to the island made him nervous though, he wasn't exactly great swimmer so if that sunk now he'd be goner for sure. It didn't exactly make him feel any better when few of his future classmates seemed to find it funny how the boat rocked if they jumped on it and they nearly managed flipping the boat over before they had even left the harbor! If he wasn't already so damn pale he would probably have paled even more. Luckily some of the ship staff told them to sit down and stop that. He clutched his arms around the wrapper that protected his treasure inside - his bonsai tree that he had worked on hard for couple of years already hoping no one would bump at him nor try to talk with him since he'd probably puke if he had to open his mouth now.

Luck was on his side and they got to the island without anyone trying to start talking with him (nor boat sinking). Steady ground had never felt so good under his feet as it did when he took the first steps on the island that would basically be his home for next few years. If he didn't remember completely wrong they had been advised to enter the building and follow the signs there to find their way to... whatever it was. Well the school building surely was impressive at least, it looked old but had clearly been recently restored to its former glory as the paint looked new. While he stared it in awe someone bumped at him from behind and he nearly dropped his bonsai. Annoyed he glared at the clearly blind idiot only barely holding himself back from telling them off. After all it never was a good idea to start your first day at a new place by making enemies.

Inside he pretty much just followed to flow of people and they ended up in a hall. He would honestly have preferred putting his luggage away first but apparently this was how the things had been planned to go from the beginning as the headmaster rambled her welcomes and other info there also informing them that they'd get their rooms. "...If you still have something to ask about today's schedule, teachers, school itself, me or about, well anything, now would be perfect chance for that before I let you out to officially sign in the school and get your new rooms and roommates." The headmaster ended her speech and the room fell silent. He bit his lip then raised his hand and she nodded as giving him permission to talk so he asked, "When do we start the actual studying?" Noir could have sworn that at least half of the hall was glaring at him for slowing things down but the headmaster looked kind of relieved to receive at least one question. "Eager to get started aren't you?" She asked smiling then added, "Your first lesson will be on Wednesday, today and tomorrow will pretty much go by with getting you used to the building, rest of the island and rules." He nodded bit embarrassed about that remark but that seemed sensible enough. She glanced around looking hopeful, "Any other questions?"

Emit decides to take a wander around the hall, looking at few paintings and the weird statues at the entrance.
“Who’s was it to have these weird statues, I know its art but this is just weird,” He says to himself looking at the statue in different angles.
As the time passes by, the main entrance is full of students, screaming, laughing and talking was the only sounds heard. What happened to the silent? Emit was looking around seeing people was getting closer to him, his eyes were blurring until he heard a woman talk and the hall became silent. He looks around him and the atmosphere had changed and he had space around him.
“Why do I get like this when people crowd me? Cant I just be normal and just not panic?” He said to himself whilst listening to the head mistress.
"...If you still have something to ask about today's schedule, teachers, school itself, me or about, well anything, now would be perfect chance for that before I let you out to officially sign in the school and get your new rooms and roommates." The headmistress had finished her speech and surprisingly the hall was still quiet, noticing the boy next to Emit , he asks a question, "When do we start the actual studying?"
“Are you kidding me? To be honest I too can’t seriously be bothered with all this touring crap, I know I will find my own way around the school with out the teachers telling me where to go and what not to do,” He whispers to himself looking at the student beside him.
"Any other questions?" The Head Mistress replies.
“I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?” Emit shouts across the hall

Alexander rather enjoyed the boat ride on the way for 2 reasons: 1 - he was able to tune everyone out thanks to having fully charged his mp3 player and 2 - he was able to come up with a new tune he'd have to play out on his guitar once he got settled in.

As the other students unloaded onto the docks, Alexander removed his sunglasses to take in the view of the place that would be his temporary home for the next few years. It looked almost like a scene out of one of those annoying disney movies some of the younger orphans would watch over and over again. This place was no fairy tale though, that was for certain.

Taking note of the direction everyone else seemed to be heading in, he picked up his simple suitcase and went with the flow. Entering the main building, some people seemed to go ahead and bypass what was going on the center area near the entrance heading for their rooms instead. He figured it would be in his best interest to learn the rules of this place before he broke any unintentionally and found himself homeless again. Making his way over, he fell into step right beside a pink-haired young woman mumbling something about a old man...

Image

Sabre looked around the harbor area, noticing how busy it was with people eating, shopping, conversing with friends or on their cell phones. If it hadn't been for the loading announcement to the island, she more than likely would've missed the boat. She was thankful the boats were small and not the size of the Titanic!

Her friends were sad that she was leaving, but she promised to email and stay in touch with them as much as she was allowed. While relaxing, she read over the information pamphlet again telling her a brief history about the school and what to expect upon arrival.

As they unloaded, she grabbed her bags and hauled everything up to the main building that would be the dormitory. She eyed a few people around her, sensing a lot of nervousness and excitement. If she did happen to have a roommate, she just hopped they weren't a gab fest because talking wasn't something she was up for right when she meets someone new. She got bumped a few times along the way, but didn't think much of it considering how crowded her old school had been.

She noticed there were many students gathered around listening to a young woman on the podium up front. Upon finishing her speech, she heard her ask for questions, and heard a couple of people speak up, the last person being a bit rude by yelling “I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?” Well, someone certainly wasn't in a good mood today, now were they?

“I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?” Some boy shouted and she blinked bit flustered, "Ah, oh... well if no one has more questions then yes, the check in desks are right out there." Ada replied pointing at the direction of the desks. "I recommend you form a line over there, the signing in is fast, you'll be asked your name and in return get key and room number." She chuckled bit, "It was way slower back when I was a student here since each student had to be manually found from the printed lists but now we actually have a computer for that." She doubted that the kids cared about that though. Ada smiled one last time then happily added, "We'll see again in few hours and remember, I'm always available if you've got something on your hearts." She had barely finished her sentence when the mass of people started moving forming a sloppy something-a-kind-of-a-queue. Well it did get the job done so she had no complains. She watched them in silence sitting down on the edge of the stage just to be there available in case someone had been too shy to ask something out loud while everyone else was listening and still had some questions.

------------------------

Image

When Ada stopped talking and released about hundred people at once Hayato kind of feared the worst but surprisingly the kids seemed to behave pretty well - for now. He knew better than expect things to stay that way longer than few minutes. He wasn't sure how he was still stuck in that damn check in process since he absolutely hated it and there were newer younger teachers who would have deserved to get that kind of job. On the other hand since he had been doing it ever since he had become a teacher there he sure as hell was efficient at it even before the computer system for it had been introduced to the picture. Jillian was helping him out and basically handed out the keys as soon as he got the room number to give out and marked that the student had arrived. He looked at the first person in the line asking simply, "Name?" He knew he could have asked that more politely but he wanted to get the whole thing done as fast as possible and didn't really feel like striking small talk with hundred students. If they wanted to talk to him they had better prove themselves worth his time first.

------------------------

Image

Noir jumped startled when the guy next to him shouted “I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?” Somebody never taught him any manners did they? Soon enough they were allowed to move again and he decided to stay around at the end of the line, he wasn't in hurry to get to unpack and this way he'd have better chance to take a glance at his new classmates. From the outside most of them looked, well, normal. It was hard to guess this was school for magic since everything looked awfully normal. Maybe he had dreamed the whole magic part? He dug out the ad about the school reading it again, no it definitely said that Terces was school of magic, it wasn't in his head only. But everything STILL looked disappointingly normal. Not that he was sure what he had been expecting. Maybe just something more exciting or different?

------------------------

Image

So booooring! Elyssa thought as the line slowly crawled releasing people one by one to their few hours of freedom while the rest of them still had to wait for their turn. She glanced around, wasn't there anyone she could waste time with while waiting? She smirked recognizing one guy and wandered over to him, "You're that guy who nearly walked to me at the harbor aren't you? Do you have other hobbies or was that the only one?" She asked jokingly figuring that any kind of conversation with anyone would beat the silence.

Ava is in a deep daydream whilst the head mistress is talking, she turns her head to see a boy taking a step beside her, so Ava gives the boy a smile and a wink. Before she goes to say something a boy shouts out “I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?”
“Wow that was rude but I guess he has a point, no offence but I need to carry all my shopping back to my room, I am knackered,” Ava puffed as she sat on her suitcase.

The time was now to move on and get into queues and get the room numbers and keys, “Oh yes, more keys to my collection,” She thought sarcastically as she joined the queue.

“We have all this technology and you only use one old computer, Oh please not on my watch,” She yells as she waves her wand
“Wow she is so stunning, Love the lace dress she is wearing,” Ava admires the teacher as she stands holding her shopping bags.
“Girls please come into this queue and I will see you all. Get things done quicker and get all touring round this giant castle as soon as possible,” she yells as she does something on her tablet.
“Oh god now its my chance to been seen first by the gorgeous teacher,” She mumbles to herself as she rushes over with her belongings.
“NEXT?!” Ava rushes over, “Name please,”
“Ava, I don’t have a surname,” She says to the teacher.
“Hears your key and your room number is 14, so enjoy! NEXT!”
Ava watches as her key hovers to her.

Image
After asking the question most of the hall turn and give him a glare, “What?!” he yelled glaring back at them. “Did you all want to stay back and ask 21 question? Well do so cause I ain’t waiting I have been up since 5am and my bags are heavy!” He replies back to most of the students as they all start walking into a queue.
Emit enters the queue and stands patiently until its his turn to be viewed.

“We have all this technology and you only use one old computer, Oh please not on my watch,”
After hearing the yelling he looks to see a teacher rushing in her heels to help.
“Girls please come into this queue and I will see you all. Get things done quicker and get all touring round this giant castle as soon as possible,” she yells
“Finally now we will all be seen quicker, but this old man on this side is taking his time and looks like he was forced to be doing this,” Emit thought to himself as he looks at the male teacher.

Image
Tina walks down the corridors in her heels, a wand in one hand and her tablet in the other. Entering the main entrance she sees one queue of 300 Students all-waiting to be seen.
“We have all this technology and you only use one old computer, Oh please not on my watch,” She yells as she waves her wand and makes another queue on the other side for all the girls.
“Girls please come into this queue and I will see you all. Get things done quicker and get all touring round this giant castle as soon as possible,” she yells as she gets the list up on her tablet.
Waving her wand she collects the rest of the girl’s dorm keys and has them hovering around her as she goes down the queue asking the girls names and passing one key to each girl.

The headmaster seemed like a nice woman, at least to Max. She listened quietly to what she was saying and just bit her lip when people started asking questions.
“I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?” Someone across the hall shouted and the force of her lip biting increased. How incredibly rude. She wondered whether the guy would have done the same had it been a man standing on the stage. The headmaster agreed and she slowly followed the other students to where they were forming an uneven queue. She couldn’t even see the desk from where she was standing.
Just when she’d resigned herself to a long wait a young woman, a teacher from the looks of it, came from one of the corridors and started calling over the heads of the students, “We have all this technology and you only use one old computer, Oh please not on my watch. Girls please come into this queue and I will see you all. Get things done quicker and get all touring round this giant castle as soon as possible.” Max followed the other girls into the new queue with a tentative smile. She liked this new teacher, she seemed efficient. When it was her turn at the desk she took a breath and stated her name, receiving the key and directions to room 33. There was still a pit of anxiety in her stomach as she grabbed her bags and made her way towards the room. She just really, really hoped her roommate would be okay.

Image

By the end of the headmaster’s speech Andy was already slightly bored. So he wholeheartedly agreed when someone in the room yelled, “I have a question, are we allowed to move on now?” Introductions were nice and all but they were boring as hell. He was sure there were other things to do. Like find their rooms, introduce themselves to their roommates (possibly gauge whether they would be up to some bi-weekly DnD sessions perhaps) … interesting things. Which weren’t forthcoming at the moment it seemed. The line towards the registration desk was positively crawling, which was never a good thing. He had just about made his mind up about finding some way to quicken the process when he heard a voice behind him.
"You're that guy who nearly walked to me at the harbor aren't you? Do you have other hobbies or was that the only one?" It was a girl. Well, technically it was the girl. He did almost run her over accidentally just a few hours ago after all. She seemed to be smiling though, so that was a good sign. He grinned in response and paused to take a slight bow before her. Never let anyone say Andy didn’t have any manners.
“So I am, wouldn’t you look at that? Sorry again about that, by the way. I don’t usually make a habit of it unless I’m really distracted. The name’s Andy, by the way, who did I have the pleasure of almost bodily harming?” At that moment another teacher walked in, calling for the girls to form a separate queue. Andy sighed but his grin wasn’t wavering. “Suppose that’d mean you, too, wouldn’t it? Go ahead, get closer to sweet, merciful freedom.” He exaggeratedly waved his hands towards the other queue. Hopefully she’d at least stay long enough to give him her name though.

Hayato rolled his eyes annoyed when Tina finally showed up to check in her half of the students. If she was so much "better" at the job why didn't she just take the whole thing over then and show him how "fast" she could do it instead? He was almost tempted to just claim his computer jammed and leave the rest for her to handle but that would have been childish. Instead he just turned his attention to the next person in line asking him, "Name?"

-------------------

Image

He grinned in response and paused to take a slight bow before her. Elyssa grinned amused, this could be fun~ “So I am, wouldn’t you look at that? Sorry again about that, by the way. I don’t usually make a habit of it unless I’m really distracted. The name’s Andy, by the way, who did I have the pleasure of almost bodily harming?” She was about to answer when another teacher walked in, calling for the girls to form a separate queue. Boo. And just when she found someone to talk with! He sighed still grinning. “Suppose that’d mean you, too, wouldn’t it? Go ahead, get closer to sweet, merciful freedom.” He exaggeratedly waved his hands towards the other queue. She couldn't help laughing bit, "I'm not in a hurry to go to the end of yet another queue." And besides he seemed nicer than the girls over there, so many girly girls, bleh. "I'm Elyssa, nice to meet you." She added smiling.

---------------------

Image

Noir watched in awe when the another teacher that had showed up used some kind of magic to transfer half of the keys over to herself, well now THAT was more like what he had been waiting for. Slowly the slight excitement he had been feeling about coming there was coming back to him. Maybe coming here hadn't been a bad idea after all... Although the queue got halved it was still moving on slowly so he just dropped his bags to the floor and sat down still holding his plant in his hands. Next to him stood a guy with headphones and he figured he might as well try chatting with him so he just sighed not particularly talking to anyone as he said, "Meh this queue will take forever, wonder if we'll even get that few hours of freedom promised before we have to gather together again." He hoped the guy would reply something so they could chat a little to pass time. And who knew, maybe they could become friends?

Alexander chuckled, then glanced down to see a small group of bags the girl had been talking about. Didn't she have enough? He collects his bag to get in the queried line before another teacher with red hair came over yelling "“We have all this technology and you only use one old computer, Oh please not on my watch And he watches her use a tablet and a wand to lighten the load - but not by much. Even with the girls moving to the other line, there were still more students arriving every few minutes.

"...to be seen first by the gorgeous teacher" he hears the girl say before she moves over to the other line quickly. He hears her say her name is Ava, which he realizes is fairly closes to the headmistress's name - Ada. He hoped to not get them mixed up the next time he saw her as he tended to do sometimes with people who had similiar names.

Thinking over everything they'd been told in the opening speech, Alexander decided he would do his own tour by himself later. He was more interested in getting that tune he'd come up with worked out while they had their free time.

Speaking of free time he heard a voice next to him mumble something about "few hours of freedom promised before we have to gather together again." Alexander wondered himself as well, but thought he'd humor him as he answered, "I'm sure we'll probably get about ten minutes to ourselves, which'll probably be long enough to get to your room, set your bags down, then come right back out"

Sabre wasn't happy with the announcement of hearing "all rooms are shared here" which meant no one would be exempt from that rule. She figured it was a friendship making method. Just bloody great.

"...come into this queue and I will see you all. Get things done quicker and get all touring around this giant castle as soon as possible" She heard the red headed woman with a wand and tablet in hand say as she picked up her twin rolling suitcases and moved them over to the other line.

The tour was an absolute NO for Sabre. She'd been around as many people as she cared to be for today. All she wanted to do was nap for a bit before lunch - or dinner - whichever one she woke up in time for. She'd go on her own tour later on that evening since they'd given them free reign for the day it seemed.

The guy answered, "I'm sure we'll probably get about ten minutes to ourselves, which'll probably be long enough to get to your room, set your bags down, then come right back out" Noir sighed turning to him, "I sure hope we get bit longer than that, my plant doesn't like traveling nor being packed like this and I want to water it too before we have to gather together again."

“Finally I have my key, time to place it on my key chain,” Ava said as she stops to the side of the hall and places her keys back in her bag.
She looks down at her bags and wonders why in earth she bought so much, “Oh great my roomy isn’t going to have that much space with all these clothes everywhere! Oh I better not think like that if I tend to make friends,” she giggles to herself as she picks up her bags and slowly starts making her way to the dorm.

She enters the dorm, “what in earth? It looks like a forbidden room full of clutter! I hope we get maids cleaning these rooms?” She places her bags in front of one of the wardrobes she claimed and then opens up her suitcase and decides to pack.
“I need to make sure everything is unpacked before I can relax or do anything else as my clothes will crease up really badly,” She says to her self as she places the clothes one by one in her wardrobe.

Emit was next in the queue to be greeted with a “name?”
“Emit, No surname,” he replied waiting to be checked and then given a key.
Why don’t the teachers just allow the students to do their own touring, most students will be better off touring getting lost and then finding their way back some how, “The dorms are shared did the head mistress say? Well this will be interesting I wonder what person I will get, lets just hope they aren’t ignorant and annoying,” He chucked getting a glare at him.

As Tina goes through the list and checks the name she looks over to see Hayato being slow once again, “Seriously the man is always grumpy,” She thought as she continues going through the list and handing out keys.
“It looks like these students never end coming in, we need machines to do this job “ she says to herself.

The girl laughed in response. "I'm not in a hurry to go to the end of yet another queue. I'm Elyssa, nice to meet you."
“Well then, Elyssa, be my guest. From the looks of it we’ll be a while anyway, doesn’t matter where you’re sitting. Which reminds me …” Andy promptly plopped himself down on his bag, staring up at her expectantly. “You know, I hate waiting. It’s so damned boring and you can’t really do anything because … well, you have to wait. And people are so busy with that that they don’t even take time to be bored together. I mean, shouldn’t that be what orientation is about anyway? Coming together through the power of boredom, that could totally work. Maybe that’s what they’re actually doing? Go out and be social, students, we won’t let you do anything else!” The last part he mock-yelled in his best dark sorcerer voice. The guys back home always liked that one during sessions. It was pretty awesome if he could say so himself.

She was the first one in the room. Max looked around carefully before setting down her bags and starting to unpack with a sigh. She had nothing else to do right now after all and the quiet was calming after all that bustle from before. Perhaps her roommate would come and join her soon – she half hoped, half dreaded that.

“Emit, No surname,” he replied and Hayato nodded relieved to only find one guy called Emit from the lists, "Room 101, here's your key." He was about to ask for the next student when Emit added, “The dorms are shared did the head mistress say? Well this will be interesting I wonder what person I will get, lets just hope they aren’t ignorant and annoying,” He could only shrug, "If you don't get along talk to dorm manager and ask for new room. It's hassle but can be done." He shooed Emit off looking at the next person in queue, "Name?" He'd probably be asking that question in his sleep for the next night...

“Well then, Elyssa, be my guest. From the looks of it we’ll be a while anyway, doesn’t matter where you’re sitting. Go out and be social, students, we won’t let you do anything else!” The last part he mock-yelled and Elyssa giggled bit, "Maybe that was the secret goal after all?" Grinning she added, "I thought it was bit odd to dump bunch of teenagers in the middle of nowhere on a remote island but then again there's pretty much nothing to do so most will probably pay more attention to their studies AND we don't really have other option than to learn how to get along with everyone here and since that's kind of what you have to do in real life too it all suddenly makes sense - they're basically running a tiny real life simulator on us on." She smirked, "As long as they don't give us weapons and send us to hunt our own food in that tiny forest I think I'm okay with things here - well given I can get along with my roommate once I meet her." She sighed bit glancing at the queue where other girls stood feeling worried, none of the ones she had seen so far really looked like the type she would get along with... But you shouldn't judge book by its covers, maybe they just looked like such girly girls but acted otherwise?
